As children, we have all dreamt of the future.  Dreams of growing up to rocket towards far off galaxies or take care of things right here at home as a doctors, lawyers, teachers, mothers, fathers, princesses and maybe even president.   Joyful hours of playful fantasies about what we would be when we grew up.

No doubt some of us imagined being celebrities and taking the large and small screen by storm.  But what did our “celebs” dream of being and what do our celebrity “kids” have in the “plan” for when they are all grown up?

I asked some of my very cool, very friendly friends who just happen to be celebrities to share with me and they came up with a few things that even suprised me!

You have probably seen my fab friend (and her accent) on “The Big Bang Theory”.   But she has “graced” the large screen in “The Good Girl”, “A Man Apart”, “Penance”, & “American Zombie”… While she is a quirky gal (in the best way) I admire her “acting chops and her flair for the creative…

“When I was growing up I wanted to be a dancer.  Dancing was my first form of creative expression and I had a passion for it that could not be contained. As a child I used to make up mini dance routines and dance around the furniture in my mother’s living room.

I used to do everything from selecting  the music to creating  the choreography to making the costumes and then enter the final performances into school dance competitions.  I also loved to play ‘dress up’ and would raid my mother’s wardrobe and parade around the house in her shoes and clothes…I think that’s where my desire to be an actress started….in my mom’s closet.” (hmm sound familar?)
